WXDU's Mission
WXDU, as a member of the Duke University Union, exists to inform, educate, and entertain both the students of Duke University and the surrounding community of Durham through quality progressive alternative radio programming. WXDU seeks to give its staff the freedom to pursue their personal aesthetic within the framework of a cohesive format. WXDU aims to provide the listener with an alternative viewpoint untainted by commercial interests. WXDU resolves to maintain good relations with the music industry without compromising its integrity and nationally recognized commitment to quality programming. WXDU resolves to remain a laboratory where all members are free to make and learn from their mistakes.

Tune in every Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 for a rotating schedule of great news, sports, discussion and informative programming this summer.

On the first Sunday of each month we've got:
     -6:00: The Endless Frontier, with a look at the latest in science news plus interviews with leading researchers
     -6:30: Life Inside, a show that takes a closer look at life at Duke 
     -7:00: WXDU Sports, with highlights of college (including Duke and NCCU) sports, plus a look at national play

The second Sunday of the month has:
     -6:00: Off Topic, a program produced by students at the Cary Chinese School that examines entertainment news and issues
     -7:00: Interviews and documentaries from producers on the Public Radio Exchange (PRX)

Tune in on the third Sunday of the month for:
     -6:00: The Endless Frontier, with a look at the latest in science news plus interviews with leading researchers
     -6:30: Interviews and documentaries from producers on the Public Radio Exchange (PRX)
     -7:00: WXDU Sports, with highlights of college (including Duke and NCCU) sports, plus a look at national play

On the roster for the last Sunday each month:
     -Interviews and documentaries from producers on the Public Radio Exchange (PRX)

And for those months with a bonus Sunday, catch more compelling programs from PRX on the fourth Sunday.
